1Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Audit Tax And Book Advisor ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Findr Docs – Doc Organizer application (the "App") on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
2Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information through the App. This matches the App's privacy declaration on the App Store: Data Not Collected. The App does not require an account, and we do not operate servers that receive your documents, searches or usage.
3Your Documents
Documents you scan or import, along with their folders, names and recognized text, are stored on your device. They are not sent to us. Deleting a document in the App removes it, and deleting the App removes its local data.
4On-Device AI
Document classification, naming suggestions, text recognition (OCR) and the AI Assistant run on your device. On supported devices the App uses Apple Intelligence; on other devices it uses on-device recognition and classification. Your documents are never uploaded to an AI server operated by us or by any third party.
5iCloud Sync
If iCloud sync is turned on, your folders and documents are stored in your own private iCloud account and synced to devices signed in to your Apple Account. This data is held by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and we cannot access it. You can turn sync off at any time to keep everything on your device.
6Camera, Photos & Face ID
The App asks for camera access only to scan documents and for photo library access only to import the documents or albums you choose. Face ID and Touch ID are handled by iOS; the App only receives whether authentication succeeded and never sees your biometric data.
7Third-Party Services
The App is distributed through Apple's App Store and uses Apple frameworks such as iCloud, Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight. These services are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
8Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
9Security
Because we do not collect your data, there is no personal data held by us that could be exposed. Documents on your device are protected by Apple's built-in security features and, if enabled, by the App's own App Lock.
10Your Rights
Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the GDPR or US state laws, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to withdraw consent. As we do not collect personal data through the App, there is normally nothing for us to provide or delete, but you can contact us with any questions.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
