1Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Audit Tax And Book Advisor ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Medi Guide – Medicine Info application (the "App") on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

2Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information through the App. This matches the App's privacy declaration on the App Store: Data Not Collected. The App does not require an account, and we do not operate servers that receive your searches or usage.

3Searches & the openFDA Service

To show results, the App sends the medicine name or ingredient you search for directly to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's public openFDA API (api.fda.gov). No account details or personal identifiers are included in these requests.

As with any internet request, the openFDA service receives your device's IP address and the search query. The FDA's handling of this information is governed by the FDA's own website privacy policy.

4Favorites & Search History

Medicines you bookmark and your recent searches are stored locally on your device so you can find them again. They are not sent to us. You can clear them in the App, and deleting the App removes them.

5Health Information

The App does not ask for, and we do not collect, your health conditions, prescriptions or medical records. Please do not enter personal health details into the search box; search only by medicine name or ingredient.

6Third-Party Services

The App is distributed through Apple's App Store and retrieves public drug label data from the FDA's openFDA service. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

7Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8Security

Because we do not collect your data, there is no personal data held by us that could be exposed. Requests to openFDA are made over encrypted HTTPS connections, and data on your device is protected by Apple's built-in security features.

9Your Rights

Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the GDPR or US state laws, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to withdraw consent. As we do not collect personal data through the App, there is normally nothing for us to provide or delete, but you can contact us with any questions.

10Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
